Step 1, Register for an Account and Add your Blog

BlogMailr is designed to be simple. To get started you need to create an account. An account consists of a sign-in name and password. You'll use this sign-in name and password to manage your @blogmailr.com account.

You also must add a list of email addresses you will send emails from (known as the "approved senders list"). If BlogMailr receives an email to your @blogmailr.com account and it's not on the approved sender list the email will not be published and no error message is sent back for security purposes.

Next, to add a blog just click “Add Blog”. Next you will be asked for your blog’s URL, and sign-in name and password. This information is the same information you would use if you were signing in to your blog to manage it. This information is stored in a very, very secure way (encrypted) but that’s all we’ll say about it.

Step 2, Write an Email

After you’ve added your blog you’ll see the unique email address assigned to your blog, the email address below is blurred for obscurity:

You can start a new email message by either clicking on the email address or copy-and-pasting the URL into a new email. There is also a contact card option to quickly add your blog to your contacts.

Once you've opened an email addressed to your @blogmailr.com account type the subject and the body for your blog post.

When you are done writing your email (there are some advanced options we’re not showing here, such as tags) just send your email.

Step 3, Receive Confirmation from  blogmailr

When your message is posted you’ll receive a confirmation email:

Step 4, All done

You can either click on one of the text links in the confirmation email or visit your blog. You should see your post live on your site – pretty simple, huh? Happy blogging!
